In November 2018, Steve Bannon, previously a top aide to Donald Trump, visited the UK to deliver a address at the prestigious Oxford Union.

The event was disrupted by hundreds of demonstrators, and Bannon, who was due to travel that night, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an message: "Protesters delayed speech I doubt I can make the plane we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein replied: "That. Is a Gulf Air departing at 950 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon answered: "You are an excellent assistant".

These exchanges were published on this week alongside over 20,000 documents from the estate of Epstein, the deceased convicted sex offender.

The release by the House oversight committee includes an text conversation where Bannon's name is withheld. Media outlets has been able to confirm his identity by cross-referencing the dates, occurrences, and places referenced.

For example, Epstein talks about chartering a plane from the UK for the unnamed individual in the chat, and offers praise their "Oxford speech". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on 14 November, and gave the talk at the Oxford two days later.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any wrongdoing, declined to comment on the request for comment.

'I'll make sure you're well looked after'

Bannon served as the president's closest advisers in the lead-up to the 2016 election and in the early days of his presidency, but stepped down from the administration in 2017.

He has admitted he was making a film about Epstein prior to his passing and allegedly has approximately 15 hours of recordings. In a live taping of his show earlier this year, he stated: "We plan to publish the film, the multi-part documentary, next year - at the start of next year."

But the recently disclosed materials suggest Bannon's connection with Epstein went further than documenting his life, with the convicted paedophile at times seeming to act like a personal assistant.

A few days prior to the exchange in which Epstein seemed to arranged a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the highest-paid travel agent in the world ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r pretty good asst", to which Epstein replied "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a trip to "AD" in another message, Epstein told Bannon: "I'll make sure you are taken care of."

UK Politics Mentioned in Exchanges

The published messages also reveal Bannon and Epstein talking about British political matters in 2018.

Earlier on the same day his address at the Oxford Union, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit thing this day with Farage, Boris and Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a reference to the UK prime minister, the struggling UK prime minister at the time, he continued: "They are trying to proceed. may today / tomorrow…"

Epstein suggested Bannon: "I think staying as long as you can in the UK. Best-- so others see the dedication of your follow through."

Shortly after, Epstein asked: "Will Theresa may survive". Bannon answered: "I don't see how however the guys over here have no balls" and added "Johnson ; Gove; Rees Mogg; Davis - someone has to step up".

Theresa May was finally removed in 2019 after withstanding multiple attempts of lack of support in December 2018.

A spokesman for Reform UK told media: "Nigel Farage has not been in a meeting with Bannon, Jacob Rees Mogg and Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest that encounter occurred.

The US House of Representatives will vote next week on whether the justice department should make public all its records related to its probe into Epstein, who died in jail in that year.

Attention in Epstein's relationships with influential individuals was reignited recently after the release of over 20,000 documents from his estate.

Some of those mentioned Trump, who has repeatedly rejected any impropriety. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for a long time, but claims they fell out in the early 2000s, a couple of years prior to Epstein was first arrested.
